My Favorite Movie

There are four main characters, Lelaina (Winona Ryder), Troy (Ethan Hawke), Vickie, and Sammy. Troy dropped out of school, and all other three just graduated from the same university. Lelaina wants to be a journalist, Vickie dates different men, and Sammy has a big secret that he keeps from a family. Troy is a musician, and even though he loves Lelaina, he does not know how to build a special relationship with her.

The story is about four main characters who struggle in reality. They all have big dreams and goals in life, but everyone struggles. They feel confused, frustrated, and disappointed with their relationships, jobs, and situations.

The message of the movie is that reality is tough. We all go through difficult time in life even when we have hopes for the future. We sometimes compare ourselves to others and feel disappointed. However, it is important to know who you are and keep trying. There is no perfect job or a partner, but it is up to you to make the most of it.

My Favorite Food!

Has anyone tried Shin-ramen? It is sooo good! Specially in winter time, your body gets so warm after you eat one. This is a famous ramen from Korea. It is spicy, but its soup is so great!

Movie: Donnie Darko

Wow, I saw this movie and did not know what to think of it. I think it is one of those movies you have to see it several times until you really understand it.
I am wondering if any of you guys have seen it. If you have, let me know. I would love to know what you thought of it. If not, you should. The story takes place in October, so this is a good month for it!
The soundtrack is excellent, if you are interested....

My Bike!

This is my best friend. It does not have a name yet, but it reminds me of Hanshin Tigers, my favorite baseball team. I love riding a bike because I feel fresh air on my face, and it takes me anywhere I want. It is also eco-friendly, and it gives me energy.

4. By Saturday you should have 30 vocabulary cards. I will check your cards on Sat., so make sure you bring the cards to class.
